It does not matter how careful you are, you just can't prevent everything.....
Honeybun gradually not willing to hop to the car (he always use ramp
when getting off) or get up any stairs for the past one week, when he
does he cries. He also had tiny little blood in one of his poo. Checked
for cuts, legs, find nothing, he is not limping, he is eating and
drinking, but the cry continue...
Vet visit is a must, better to be safe than sorry.... went yesterday night, did blood test, Urine test and Xrays. Kidney, Liver good, bladder fine, Urine test normal...
Problem 1, Xrays shows gastrointestinal infection, Antibiotics needed
for 1 week, caused? we do not know and it does not explain the not
willing to hop or walk up the stairs, normal vet not available, no life
threatening issue found, decided to leave the rest till today to see our
normal vet.
Went second time today for more Xrays, our normal vet
checked him today that Honeybun feels sore in his spine, injections
needed for the next 4 weeks and and anti-inflammatory for 1 week .
Problem 2, Vet suspects some kind of fast movements caused this spine
problem. Cannot remember the medical term of it.
The bill as expected is huge, $1985 something...
Really hope the injections and medicines are going to fix this problem fast, hate seeing my babies being unwell.....
Obviously these are the things that I cannot prevent no matter how
careful I am, I can't lock Honeybun up or separate them so he can't play
crazy with CoCoBaby....but for the next 3 days Honeybun needs to rest
so they are going to be separated.
It is CoCoBaby's turn tomorrow,
she got ear infection that doesn't go away, thanks to her never ended
playing with water and mud...out of pocket this week will be around the
$500 mark....I really rather spend these money on their food or having
fun with them...
Giant dog, Giant bill......
