25 Mar 2013 Honeybun is getting better with dogs around (he is on leash of course)

We come to this Japanese Resturant again, we have company, Reaturant owner's new dog, so tiny comparing to Honeybun. 

Honeybun is so good, he just lays there, look but didn't try to get to her!

But of course he was on leash, if he is off leash and I free him, he will properly step on the crate to rescue the tiny doggy!!!

Took our Jeep to the service, got this rental (free) car, Honeybun took this chance to be closer to the driver....

18 Mar 2014 Meet other Newfies

Walk Honeybun in Glen Waverley, came across someone who has a Newfie too, invited us to his house and met his Newfie (Toby). 

Honeybun kept distance, Toby thought Honeybun is a girl, keep jumping on him hahahaha!!!!
Newfie owners are so nice. 

Thought I was lucky to meet another Newfie BUT then, we went to dinner and met another 2, interested about the club, going to send them the details....what a happy day!!!

22 Feb 2014 Made more treats for Honeybun, this time is Lamb lung and heart

I get 2 sandwich bag size of treats out of 1 Lamb heart and 1 Lamb lung (cut off all the fat).
Costed me about $3, healthiest, cheapest treats ever

What I like about the dehydrated treats most are, there is no moist left so I can keep them for a lot longer and all the oil (fat, if there is any) will drop to the bottom of the tray, making the treats more healthy 

20 Feb 2014 Honeybun has a very shoppy nose, Vaseline woks really well...

Honeybun started to have a very choppy nose about few months ago, as he did all the tests for his rashes before and there's no health issues causing this, he has access to water, he is indoor, he is having NAS oil and coconut oil, we really don't know why his nose got so choppy, been putting coconut oil on, stay ok for one day then will be choppy again. 

Honeybun went to have a groom on Monday and Vicki (Groomer and Breeder) suggested I can try Vaseline, I massaged some on his nose on Tuesday, so impress with the result, his nose got so much better the next day. 

Massaged some on again today, he was so good, he did not move at all while I was applying it!
He enjoyed it so much that he fall asleep hahaha!!!!

15 Feb 2014 Made some homemade treats for Honeybun...

Second round homemade dehydrated treats done perfectly.
First round was not successful, the chicken pieces were too thick, go off too easily, all ruined!!!
 
This time try Lamb and Salmon, smaller thinner pieces, took 2 days ( just keep them in the trays and let the machine work by itself!) 

Honeybun loves them so much 

Extra workload but at least I know exactly what I am feeding and don't have to use organs all the time! Next round is Lamb livers, hearts and lungs

This is double Valentine's day, not only base on western calendar, also base on Chinese calendar too, which doesn't happen very often.

30 Jan 2014 Chinese New Year tomorrow, Honeybun is ready

Chinese New Year tomorrow, all unwanted items and rubbish has to go, all dirty dishes and clothes must be dealt with, so tired with all the extra cleaning.
Everything has to be cleaned before tomorrow!!!
 Spent more than 3 hours bathing and brushing Honeybun, he is ready now for the New Year !
 
Next year I will remember not to have his meals pack right before New Year, didn't stop all day, so tired !!! But Honeybun looks great, so clean.

28 Jan 2014 Very hot day, can only stay outside for 10 minutes

Having some sweet here before shopping for Honeybun, Honeybun is enjoying his Lamb shank and water.

 

 

26 Jan 2014 Honeybun sleeps with his toy in his mouth.

Honeybun got my permission to get onto my bed, I thought he is going to play with his toy next to me, but then I saw this, he loves his toy so much that he sleeps with it in his mouth!!!!
So funny....

 Honeybun is playing with his new toy, he kept bringing it to me to get treats and had it in his mouth even when he was watching the kids screaming outside! 

Such a good boy and he's so cute 

 

 

25 Jan 2014 Chinese New Year is coming, got to clean Honeybun soon

Chinese New Year is coming, although I am very tired from work and cleaning the whole house AGAIN... But you are going to have a good bath this weekends man... I have to prepare you for Chinese New Year too, we all have to be clean for the New Year!
